About Us

Virandaise™ started as an idea while my dad was walking along the banks of the Fox River in Illinois, hence the logo.

A few years ago, my mom approached my dad with a whole host of hair problems; hair thinning, scalp irritation, white hairs, and lackluster sheen. It was quite frustrating to watch her try product after product to no avail. My dad had worked as a chemist for many years and made it his mission to develop a line of products without harsh chemicals and artificial fragrances that would improve my mom’s hair quality.

Sometimes on his lunch break, my dad would take a short walk by the Fox River. He was very inspired by the nature around him; how the trees took in nutrients from their roots. Healthy roots are what makes a healthy tree.

After many years of trial and error, he was finally able to give my mom the hair of her dreams. Dark, shiny, and full of life! The pictures speak for themselves.

As their daughter, I can tell you that Virandaise™ is as much about personal care as it is about their love story. I often see my dad patiently brushing my mom’s hair, careful as to not accidentally pull out any hairs or sitting together at night time discussing what’s to come next.

We hope that when you purchase a product from us, that you are also able to experience the same love and care...with a side of beautiful hair and skin!

Since then, the Virandaise™ product line has branched out to include skin and body care.

Healthy scalp, hair, and skin first. Virandaise™ means Life and Green in latin. It is a combination of two latin word roots. Your scalp, hair, and skin are living things. True to our name, our mission has always been to help customers maintain and improve the health of their body. Healthy, radiant hair and skin is always the most beautiful!

​At Virandaise™ we believe that healthy hair starts at the scalp and healthy skin from within. We only use natural or natural derived ingredients that nourish and rejuvenate the skin so that your hair and skin has a healthy foundation to grow from. You won’t find any harsh chemicals or artificial fragrances in any of our products.
